Straight Up, Raw Sketching

There are literally thousands of sketch blogs to view on the Internet. The subject matter and drawing styles seem infinite--inspiration abounds! What's particularly cool (sometimes very educational) is reading about each artist's process; their struggles, triumphs, and experimentation with materials and techniques. James Jean
Without doubt, James Jean is one of my favorite contemporary artists. His sketchbooks are lucid depictions of everyday life. Whenever I look at his finished artwork (wall-sized pencil drawings) I simply want to start drawing.
