Drawing is a heritage, a correspondence that we have in common with our ancestors since the dawn of history. Drawing is in our DNA. It's never too late to pick up a pencil and get started, or should I say, to continue where you left off. What starts as a casual doodle on paper could lead to an idea that changes the world, or simply remain a wonderful little doodle in a sketchbook.
This blog shares the ideas of people who draw on a regular basis, as well as those who wish to reconnect with drawing. This blog mixes it up with sketchers of all ability levels and interests, highlighting ways in which people use drawing to make their ideas visible, and their lives more enjoyable. If The Scribbles Institute helps a few folks put drawing to good use in their daily routines, then my efforts will be worthwhile. As Bob Dylan said, "What more can you do for someone but to inspire them."
